Rawda Association for development has implemented a free Cataract Surgeries of 300 vulnerable people lives in Mogadishu. The goal of this project is to perform 300 Free Surgeries of poor people suffering from preventable blindness or vision problems due to Cataract, especially those living in under-developed areas of Somalia, especially in displacement people in Mogadishu. We strive to address preventable blindness in poor people by performing Free Cataract Surgeries at Free Eye Camps in rural and suburban areas of country and at our hospitals. This strategy resolves this issue completely and has an impact on the lives of the beneficiaries almost immediately. The primary objective of this program is to offer life-changing surgical interventions to individuals suffering from cataracts, enabling them to regain their visual abilities and significantly improve their quality of life. Cataracts, a leading cause of visual impairment and blindness globally, can have a debilitating impact on individuals’ daily activities, independe We prioritize the safety and well-being of the individuals undergoing the surgeries, and adherence to strict medical protocols and standards is paramount throughout the entire process.
